𝐀𝐩𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐢, 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐛𝐢 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐚 . ⭐Ashmeet Singh and Sanvi, students of class 7th , clinched the 2nd position in the Science model making competition. ⭐Rudra Kumar of class 8th, secured 1st position and Nayesha of class 8th secured 2nd position in English Debate competition held in the Science Festival at Patiala. The esteemed event took place on February 20, 2024, at Punjabi University, Patiala. Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma extended her heartfelt congratulations to all the students, parents and their mentors for this remarkable feat. She also lauded Mr. Jatindar Kumar Badyan and the entire team for selecting and preparing such a talented student for the competition.👏👏👏👏

*TEACHERS' TRAINING CONDUCTED ON 5 FEBRUARY* *TOPIC: JAADUI PITARA FOR THE FOUNDATIONAL STAGE* The "Jaadui Pitara" is a learning experience that is designed to strengthen conceptual understanding amongst learners. Envisaged as a child-centric, innovative, toy-based learning experience that will strengthen conceptual understanding amongst learners of three to eight years of age, the Jaadui Pitara has been designed based on the *The National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage (NCF-FS) 2022* which describes how children at this stage learn best through play , through activity and doing. Children enjoy learning through several ways - talking, listening, using toys, working with material, painting, and drawing, singing, dancing, running, and jumping.” “Jadui Pitara comprising playbooks, toys, puzzles, posters, flash cards, story books, worksheets as well as reflecting the local culture, social context and languages is designed to arise curiosity and accommodate the diverse needs of learners in the foundational stage. “It is a giant leap towards enriching the learning-teaching environment and making it more child-centric, lively and joyful for the Amrit Generation as envisioned in the new National Education Policy (NEP),” The Jaadui Pitara has recommended learning and development in five domains including Physical Development, Socio-emotional and Ethical Development, Cognitive Development, Language and Literacy Development, Aesthetic and Cultural Development, Positive Learning Habits has been included as another domain of development at this stage.

The yoga session during assembly includes a brief meditation and relaxation period, allowing students to reflect and center themselves before returning to their academic activities. Overall, the yoga session served as a valuable addition to the school's assembly program, promoting wellness and mindfulness among the student body. Such initiatives contribute to creating a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic success and personal growth.

Congratulations and best wishes to the team and cricket coach Mr. Keshav Singh of Army Public School, Kandrori for being the runner-up in U-14 boys cricket competition under the Punjab School Games in District Tournament. Happy to share that Kunal became the man of the match. He made hattrick in match. The Team has proven the phrase that "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is a success". Teamwork leads to win championships.

Vedanti Katoch, Grade 4C has been accoladed with first position under junior category in the "Inter School Techfest Competition" organised by "Army Public School Pathankot".

Harsh Dall of Grade 9C has added another feather in the school's achievement tally. Harsh Dall under the guidance of his mentor Ms Anita has been selected for the prestigious INSPIRE Award of Rs 10,000 for the year 2022-23 for the preparation of Science Project/model and to participate in the district level Exhibition and Project Competition (DLEPCs) to be organised by the District Education Authority.

The 75th Independence Day was celebrated in the school premises of APS Kandrori with great joy and pomp. The Chief Guest, Chairman of the school Col Amit Razdan and Guest of Honour Lt Col Sweta Razdan inaugurated the programme with lighting of lamp followed by flag hoisting.
